How to identify a hard disk failure?

When a hard disk fails it can be identified from the following ways:

1. BIOS will not recognize or access hard disk (BIOS tak dapat kesan hardisk)
   
2. Hard disk makes clicking noise. (bunyi kliking)
   
3. Hard disk restarts on its own. (restart sendiri)
   
4. Hard disk shows a boot failure, and asks for the boot records to be updated.
5. Hard disks become dead silent. (bila on, power ada tetapi tak muncul kat monitor)

How to solve?
Buy a new one. (beli hardisk baru)
